Position Summary
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Blue Ops Marketing Intern to support our marketing team with a strong emphasis on social media strategy and execution. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, etc.)
- Support the development of social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Draft captions, posts, and basic visual content aligned with brand voice and messaging
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments/messages, and engage with followers
- Track and report on social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth)
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities
- Assist with email marketing, blog content, and website updates as needed
- Support marketing events, promotions, and general administrative tasks
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and brand development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and trends
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar is a plus
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policy.
- May be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections, maintenance walk-throughs, or emergency response situations.
- Regular exposure to facility operations including noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment.
- Occasional off-hours or weekend work required for emergency facility responses or projects as needed
- Requires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks.
