Role Description The Vice President of Retail Operations is a full-time, hybrid role based in Conover, NC, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role oversees day-to-day retail operations across all locations, ensuring consistent execution of brand standards, customer experience, and store performance. Responsibilities include managing budgets and P&L, setting and tracking sales targets, optimizing inventory and merchandising strategies, and driving retail process improvements. The Vice President will develop and implement retail growth initiatives, collaborate with finance, sales, and manufacturing teams, and provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for store and regional managers. The role also involves analyzing operational data, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and profitability, and supporting new store openings or format changes.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Retail operations, including multi-store management and customer experience leadership.
- Demonstrated expertise in P&L Management and Finance, with a track record of meeting or exceeding profitability and budget goals.
- Proven Strategic Planning and Sales skills, including setting long-term retail strategies, sales forecasting, and performance optimization.
- Experience in luxury, design-driven, or furniture retail environments is strongly preferred.
- Ability to lead and develop diverse teams, build cross-functional relationships, and communicate clearly at all organizational levels.
- Comfort with data-driven decision-making, retail KPIs, and use of retail management and reporting systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model from Conover, NC, with regular on-site presence in stores and manufacturing facilities.
