Asset Management Analyst
- Location: Miami, Florida (***Local candidates only please***)
- Compensation: $70,000 to $75,000 base salary (commensurate with experience) plus performance bonus and benefits
Summary
Select professional will be responsible for mitigating risks and maximizing property values on existing portfolio investments. Responsibilities include communicating with borrowers, analyzing financial information, reviewing legal documents, and completing thorough reports on outstanding assets.
Responsibilities – Asset Management Analyst
- Monitor progress of borrowers’ business plans (financial, technical covenants)
- Point of contact for borrowers and vendors on loans
- Review legal documents; draft legal notices for loan investments
- Analyze property financials and construction progress
- Coordinate with the servicing department to ensure timely payments
- Work with outside counsel to enforce loan documents & covenants
- Evaluate and author reports on existing investments in the portfolio
- Interact with consultants to monitor assets and perform site inspections on investments
Qualifications – Asset Management Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree required: Finance, Engineering, or Real Estate focus
- Real estate, asset management, or construction management experience
- 1-3 years of relevant project management experience with the ability to perform several tasks concurrently with poise and professionalism
- Strong math proficiency to review and maintain construction/improvement budgets, analyze financial information for properties, and complete reports for outstanding investments
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Independent self-starter with a strong analytical background
- High attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
