• Compensation: $110,000 to $130,000 base salary range; discretionary bonus potential; comprehensive benefit package

Summary

We are seeking a full-time professional with a strong background in private equity and/or public accounting to join our dynamic team as Fund Accounting Manager. Ideal candidates should have strong accounting background, extensive knowledge of tax structures and tax reporting requirements, comprehensive understanding of GAAP accounting, fund accounting, fund analysis, cash management, and excellent attention to detail. This role is responsible for managing the Company’s series of credit funds, including books and records, tax analysis and reporting, and cash management. The selected candidate will serve as the main point of contact with external tax, audit and will liaise with fund administrators.

Qualifications

• 5 years of management level experience within a Private Equity firm (REQUIRED) and/or Public Accounting firm (preferred)
• Bachelor degree required (finance and accounting concentrations preferred)
• CPA designation or equivalent highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance issues, and filing procedures for both federal and state taxes
• Experience in private credit or real estate preferred
• Proficiency with managing tax for private fund structures (LPs), joint ventures and private REITs
• Mastery of QuickBooks Office Pro (or similar accounting software), Excel, Word
• Self-starter attitude with ability to act independently and foster creative solutions
• Natural leadership skills, poise, and professional demeanor
• Sharp attention to detail with ability to develop processes
