POSITION SUMMARY:

The IT Governance Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring IT resources are governed efficiently and cost-effectively. This role supports the IT Governance function by monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on IT operational expenditures, optimizing resource allocation, and identifying savings opportunities. The analyst serves as a liaison between IT, Finance, and Procurement to align IT operational decisions with financial strategy and enterprise priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor IT operational costs and usage across infrastructure, software, and services to ensure alignment with budget and strategic priorities.
• Analyze spend data and identify cost-saving opportunities, inefficiencies, or duplications in IT services or tools.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into IT resource utilization, budget adherence, and operational performance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with Finance and IT leadership.
• Track vendor contracts and software licenses to ensure compliance, cost control, and renewal readiness.
• Contribute to IT procurement governance by reviewing proposals and validating cost-benefit justifications.
• Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate operational efficiency and recommend improvements.
• Actively participate in IT audit readiness and compliance activities by ensuring documentation, processes, and controls are maintained.
• Collaborate with enterprise teams to assess tool usage, streamline portfolios, and promote adoption of standardized solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
• 3 years of experience in IT operations, financial analysis, or IT governance in a mid-to-large enterprise.
• Proficiency in enterprise applications such as Jira, Oracle, Concur, Microsoft or other ERP/ITSM technology platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, Power BI, or equivalent data visualization/reporting tools.
• Understanding of IT cost structures (CapEx, OpEx), chargebacks, and resource allocation models.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a business partner mindset.
• Experience with IT Financial Management (ITFM) or Technology Business Management (TBM) frameworks preferred.
• Familiarity with ITIL or COBIT governance practices preferred.
• Certification in finance, IT governance, or project management (e.g., CGEIT, ITIL, PMP, CFA) is a plus.

LOCATION and COMPENSATION:

• This role will be based in Bayview’s Coral Gables, FL.
• This role will be 100% hybrid (M/F wfh, Tues – Thurs on-site)
• Salary may vary based on work experience, market conditions, location, and qualifications/training.
