This role is responsible for managing full-cycle payroll processing and ensuring accuracy across complex, shift-based employee data. The position also supports employee payroll inquiries and contributes to maintaining efficient payroll operations in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties
- Process bi-weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing from data validation through final submission
- Handle employee payroll inquiries via phone, email, and in-person support
- Process variable compensation elements including bonuses, sign-on incentives, and relocation packages
- Maintain accuracy of payroll data impacted by shift schedules and changes
- Collaborate with HR and internal payroll team members to ensure seamless operations
- Generate and review payroll reports to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and workflows
Required:
- 3 years of payroll experience within a manufacturing environment
- Direct ownership of full-cycle payroll processing
- Strong proficiency with ADP payroll systems
- Experience managing high-volume payroll data with frequent changes
- Knowledge of payroll reporting tools and systems
- Understanding of payroll compliance and regulations
- Experience processing variable compensation elements (bonuses, incentives, etc.)
Desired:
- Experience in shift-based or multi-shift payroll environments
- Exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems
- Experience supporting payroll for large employee populations
- Familiarity with payroll audits and reconciliation processes
