Blue Chip Talent is currently hiring for a Senior ECU HW Validation Engineer to work on-site in Palo Alto, CA This is a 100% onsite role (Mon–Fri, 8–5 or 9–6) with opportunities for overtime (manager-approved).

Background you will have and what you will be doing
Cross-Functional Service Delivery
- Act as the primary validation partner for HW/SW design teams,
- Deliver centralized testing across the full product lifecycle
Test Strategy & Design
- Develop DVP&R plans, test cases, and validation environments
- Integrate silicon validation into ECU-level testing
Infrastructure Development
- Build and support HIL/bench testing setups
- Create test scripts and hardware fixtures
Risk & Lifecycle Management
- Contribute to DFMEA, PFMEA, and BoD assessments
- Identify and mitigate risks impacting quality and timelines
Technical Execution
- Execute durability, electrical, and functional ECU validation
- Perform silicon characterization (SoCs, microcontrollers)
- Analyze power integrity, thermal limits, and signal behavior
- Lead root cause failure analysis and fault simulation
- Deliver data-driven insights to improve design and meet CTS
Operational Excellence
- Standardize validation tools, templates, and processes
- Maintain traceability via JIRA, JAMA, and version control
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and BoM refinement
Experience Needed:
- BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related field)
- 6 years in automotive or consumer electronics
- Strong expertise in ECU validation silicon-level testing
- Experience with CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, FlexRay
- Hands-on lab experience (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, thermal chambers)
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 testing standards
- Proficiency with JIRA & JAMA
Nice to Have:
• LabVIEW, TestStand, CAPL programming
• Ability to read electrical schematics & mechanical drawings
