Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineering Technician. This role is responsible for supporting electric motor engineering and manufacturing activities by coordinating engineering trials, tracking components, and assisting with quality investigations. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment while partnering with engineering and manufacturing teams to support the development of next-generation products.
NO C2C or 3rd party vendors are allowed for this role.

Job Duties
- Support engineering trials by gathering, measuring, tracking, and inspecting components for validation activities
- Coordinate the shipment, receipt, packaging, unpackaging, and movement of parts between facilities
- Maintain accurate documentation and operational tracking for engineering projects and manufacturing activities
- Assist engineers with data collection, analysis, and troubleshooting during product development and manufacturing trials
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis investigations and support containment activities for quality concerns
- Track inventory and engineering components to ensure materials are available for scheduled builds and testing
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to support daily operations
- Maintain compliance with plant safety procedures and required PPE standards
Skills & Experience
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn manufacturing and engineering software systems
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and automotive prints
- Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis methodologies such as 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 35 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on an active manufacturing floor for extended periods
- Willingness to follow all plant safety procedures and wear required PPE
Desired
- Previous experience in automotive manufacturing
- Experience supporting engineering builds, validation activities, or prototype manufacturing
- Experience tracking parts, inventory, or engineering materials across multiple locations
- Exposure to manufacturing quality systems and defect containment processes
- Familiarity with engineering documentation and operational reporting tools
- Experience supporting cross-functional engineering or production teams
