Job Duties
- Lead commercial AV installation projects from the field through project completion
- Coordinate daily installation activities with project managers, contractors, and other trades
- Read and interpret construction drawings, AV system diagrams, and installation documentation
- Install, terminate, and test commercial audiovisual equipment and infrastructure
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are organized and available throughout the project
- Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve field challenges as they arise
- Verify installed systems meet quality standards and project specifications
- Support commissioning activities and basic system configuration when required
Skills & Experience
Required
- Hands-on experience installing commercial AV integration systems
- Previous experience serving as a Lead Technician, Lead Installer, or Field Lead on commercial AV projects
- Experience with commercial AV platforms such as Crestron, Q-SYS, Viam, Symetrix, Yealink, or similar technologies
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and AV system documentation
- Knowledge of AV equipment installation, rack builds, cable management, and system testing
- Basic programming or configuration experience with commercial AV control systems
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to regional project sites
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Background supporting multiple commercial AV manufacturers
- Experience transitioning from live event production into permanent AV integration
- Familiarity with AV-over-IP technologies
- CTS certification or other AV industry certifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
