Job Duties
- Lead end-to-end Information Security Risk Assessments across business and technology initiatives
- Take in information through stakeholder interviews to identify and evaluate information security risks
- Assess security controls and document findings, recommendations, and remediation opportunities
- Partner with business stakeholders throughout the assessment process to ensure risks are understood and addressed
- Perform security control testing and validate control effectiveness
- Review documented controls to confirm alignment with operational processes
- Present assessment results and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders
- Provide occasional support for third-party and vendor risk activities as needed
Skills & Experience
Required
- Hands-on experience conducting Information Security Risk Assessments
- Experience identifying risks, evaluating evidence, assessing security controls, and documenting findings
- Experience leading risk assessment discussions with business and technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, HIPAA, SOX, and/or CMMC
- Experience performing security control reviews and control testing
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
