Job Duties
- Deploy and configure desktops and laptops as part of a large-scale hardware refresh initiative
- Image devices using SCCM and verify successful deployment of standard configurations
- Migrate user data between devices using tools such as USMT and PC Mover
- Coordinate directly with end users to schedule device installations and replacements
- Set up workstations including peripherals such as monitors, printers, and docking stations
- Validate application availability and ensure software parity between old and new devices
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues during deployment
- Provide basic end-user support for Microsoft applications and system setup during transition
Skills & Experience
Required
- 2 years of experience in desktop support or PC deployment roles
- Hands-on experience deploying images using SCCM
- Experience performing data migration using tools such as USMT or PC Mover
- Proficiency with Microsoft Desktop OS and Microsoft 365 services
- Experience working with Active Directory for user and device support
- Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and peripherals
- Experience validating application installations and system functionality post-migration
