Job Description
Oneida Nation School is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs within a collaborative and student-focused educational environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with students with autism and a passion for creating structured, supportive, and engaging learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide specialized academic and behavioral support to students
- Create and maintain a structured and supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, families, and support staff
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin Cross-Categorical Special Education Certification (License #2801) required
- Strong autism experience required
- Excellent classroom management and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting students with diverse educational needs
