Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active Louisiana SLP License
- Louisiana teaching certification
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as specified in IEPs
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop targeted intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff in a multidisciplinary team setting
- Document ongoing progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Serve as a resource to parents and faculty, delivering strategies to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute meaningful data to inform decision-making
