Elizabethtown Area School District is hiring six (6) dedicated Paraprofessionals to join our team for the 20252026 school year. These full-time roles support various students across the district. Specific assignments will be discussed during the interview process based on the candidates strengths and school needs.

• Provide direct support to students in general or special education settings

• Assist with academic instruction, classroom management, and daily routines

• Support students with behavioral, emotional, or physical needs as required

• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school staff to ensure student success

• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

• Paraprofessional Certificate preferred or willingness to obtain

• PCA (Personal Care Assistant) candidates are welcome and may begin work while completing Para certification

• Pennsylvania allows up to 6 months to complete the paraprofessional certification process

• Prior experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus
