Blazer Jobs is currently seeking Elementary School General Education Teachers to serve a trusted school district in Harvey, LA. This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity for the 20252026 school year.
Starting pay is $28 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver grade-level instruction aligned with Louisiana state standards
Create and implement engaging lesson plans across core subjects
Monitor and assess student progress and development
Participate in IEP and parent-teacher meetings
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
Louisiana Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Education or related field
Valid Louisiana teaching certification for elementary grades
Previous classroom teaching experience preferred
Must pass background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening
