Qualifications and Experience:
- Holds an active Social Worker license and School Social Worker endorsement (#071)
- Demonstrates experience working within a school environment or providing services to children and adolescents
- Knowledgeable in crisis intervention, case management, and advocacy for students and families
- Strong communication skills with an ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated to fostering student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with students, families, teachers, and administrators to identify and address barriers to learning
- Provide direct counseling, intervention, and support services to students
- Develop and implement intervention plans for at-risk students
- Participate in the creation and execution of individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
- Serve as a vital liaison between home, school, and community resources
- Maintain confidential and accurate records in accordance with district policies
