Key Qualifications:
- Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Nebraska School Psychologist certification/licensure
- Experience working with elementary school students highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education processes, assessment, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
- Skilled in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and developing recommendations for students
- Passion for supporting children’s development and advocating for their needs in a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents on intervention strategies and educational planning
- Lead or participate in multidisciplinary and IEP team meetings
- Design and implement data-driven interventions to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support within the school environment as needed
- Remain current with best practices and legal requirements in school psychology and special education
