Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

These contract roles offer a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule, giving you three-day weekends to enjoy all summer long.

Choose from two distinctive summer programs:

• Extended School Year (ESY):

  • In-person role, 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday)
  • Program dates: June 29th – July 30th
  • Pre-program professional development: June 25th
  • Hours: 9:30 am – 3:30 pm at Special Education Schools; 8:00 am – 2:00 pm at General Education Schools
  • Maximum of 6 hours per day, 24 hours per week

• Infants and Toddlers Services and Assessments:

  • Program dates: June 22nd – July 30th
  • No services/assessments on Fridays
  • Maximum of 7 hours per day, 28 hours per week

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, special education teams, and families
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy for students as assigned
• Conduct evaluations and assessments for infants, toddlers, or school-aged students
• Develop and implement individualized goals and treatment strategies
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Participate in IEP/IFSP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Engage in required professional development
