This summer, provide vital services within a welcoming school community in the Ellicott City area, where you'll play a meaningful role in helping children reach their potential.
Enjoy a summer schedule that enhances work-life balance—all work is Monday through Thursday, giving you long weekends to relax or pursue additional interests. There are two opportunities for skilled PTs:
Extended School Year (ESY): Provide in-person therapy for a five-week program, from June 29th to July 30th, with professional development scheduled for June 25th. Depending on assignment, hours are typically 9:30 am–3:30 pm (Special Education) or 8:00 am–2:00 pm (General Education). Anticipate up to 6 hours daily, 24 hours weekly.
Infants and Toddlers Services and Assessments: Support early intervention from June 22nd to July 30th, Mondays through Thursdays only. This role offers up to 7 hours per day, 28 hours per week, focused on assessments and therapy for young children.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapy license in Maryland
- Experience in school-based or pediatric PT settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusion and positive outcomes for diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct PT services according to student IEPs and developmental needs
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with educators and families to support holistic student success
- Participate in professional development and team meetings
