This contract opportunity for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is based onsite near Ellicott City, MD. The position is structured for full-time hours, but applicants interested in part-time roles will be considered, provided they are available on Thursdays and Fridays. The school operates on a year-round calendar, fostering ongoing relationships and consistent therapeutic support for students.

Key Qualifications
- Active and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or COTA
- Background or passion for working in educational settings, ideally K-12
- Experience supporting students with autism or related developmental differences strongly preferred
- Compassionate communicator with ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Available onsite for interviews and to begin work as soon as possible
- Assess students’ functional and educational needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Deliver individual and group therapy, primarily to students diagnosed with autism
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and family members to ensure cohesive support strategies
- Monitor and document progress, adjust interventions as necessary, and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain current records in compliance with school policies and state regulations
