Physical Therapist - School Setting in Seattle, WA

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Are you a passionate physical therapist with experience in school settings? An exciting contract opportunity awaits you on-site in vibrant Seattle, WA, supporting students across Central Seattle and nearby areas. This position is set to begin around September 2nd and will go through December (ending in the 2nd or 3rd week of December).

In this role, you’ll make a meaningful impact for students ranging in age from PreK up to 22 years old, collaborating directly with school staff and helping each student reach their full potential. Flexible hours are available depending on your availability, at .8 to 1 FTE per week, and the number of school assignments will be determined upon placement.

Qualifications/Experience Desired:

• Current, active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Washington State
• Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy (strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with IEPs, direct therapy, and consultative services in educational environments
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt PT plans for a wide variety of ages and needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students ages PreK–22
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document all services provided
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Travel to assigned schools within the district
