Position Details
- Location: Sumter, South Carolina
- School: Oakland Primary School
- Assignment Dates: July 27, 2026 – May 21, 2027
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Setting: Onsite Only
- Caseload: Early Childhood Special Education (3K and 4K students)
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students receiving special education services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
- Track student progress and maintain required documentation.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Active South Carolina Special Education Teaching License.
- Required endorsements/certifications for Special Education.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with preschool or early childhood populations is preferred.
