Estimator | Multifamily & Commercial Construction
$100,000 – $130,000 base salary aligned with experience, plus bonus and full benefits
Blayze Group is partnering with a privately backed developer and builder to appoint an Estimator to support a growing pipeline of multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial projects.
This is a preconstruction-focused role, suited to Estimators who are comfortable working across both early-stage feasibility and full design development, supporting projects from concept through to construction handover.
The Role:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial construction projects
• Support land acquisition and development teams with underwriting and feasibility analysis
• Perform quantity takeoffs and review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Solicit and level subcontractor and supplier pricing across all trades
• Develop conceptual budgets, unit rates, and maintain historical cost data
• Identify risks, cost exposures, and value engineering opportunities early in design
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and internal teams through design development
• Support procurement, bid reviews, and handover to construction teams
• Attend site visits, design meetings, and preconstruction reviews
Background Sought:
• 5–10 years of estimating experience within multifamily, commercial, or residential construction
• Experience with ground-up multifamily or mixed-use developments
• Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
• Experience producing conceptual and detailed estimates across multiple design stages
• Proficiency with takeoff and estimating software (Bluebeam, OST, or similar)
• Stable work history, ideally with developers, GCs, or integrated builders
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to work cross-functionally
