Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality in both casual and fine dining settings
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a memorable experience for every guest

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant environment is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or high-volume settings
• Experience with cocktail preparation, wine knowledge, spirits service, and drink presentation is desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle multiple tables simultaneously
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices is essential
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous roles such as host/hostess or bussing support are beneficial for understanding guest flow and restaurant operations
