What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician position at Black Mountain Rental?
Black Mountain Rental (division of REIC) is hiring a Field Service Technician (FST) who will be responsible for the repair of all rental equipment residing on various job sites in addition to normally assigned shop technician duties. The FST is also responsible for the upkeep of OFLs on long term rentals, coordinating with the counters on the replacement of equipment.

A typical day may include:
- Perform assigned internal and field service repairs as needed
- Maintain service vehicle tools & parts to required standards
- Stocking and maintenance of service trucks
- Maintaining accurate and complete records of all work performed
- Coordinating future service needs of equipment with Store Manager
- Conduct safety inspections on field equipment
Top candidates will have:
- Technical repair knowledge on a wide range of equipment
- Have a strong attention to detail and be self-motivated
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- A valid driver's license with a violation-free record for previous three years
- Able to lift 75 lbs. or more, several times per day.
