Qualifications
JOB GOAL: To organize, supervise, coordinate, and implement excellence in health & physical education and the performing arts.
Performance Responsibilities
Salary based on education and experience on the District Salary Guide, starting at $89,525.

Qualifications
- A valid New Jersey Supervisor's Certificate or letter of eligibility. Teacher of Health & Physical Education certification OR certification in the performing arts field preferred.
- Five years' teaching experience and knowledge working in health, physical education and/or performing arts preferred.

Performance Responsibilities
- Assumes the duties and responsibilities as outlined on the Department Supervisor job description.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff the preparation of facilities for physical education, and performing arts department.
- Supervise the storage and inventory of all curricular physical education and performing arts equipment/supplies.
- Prepare budget and keep accurate records of all expenditures and purchases.
- Attend, organize, manage, and present professional staff development meetings.
- Coordinate public relations for the health, physical education and performing arts programs including cooperation with the sending school districts, parents, and the media.
- Establish curricular and teacher schedules for all health, physical education and performing arts courses, grade levels, and curricular activities.
- Monitor, assess, and manage the conditions, including cleanliness, safety, and repairs, of the gymnasium, music rooms, locker-rooms, classrooms and associated equipment/supplies.
- Coordinate and promote, in coordination with school administration, curricular performing arts. programs, including concerts, competitions, and other community arrangements.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
