Position Overview
The Creative Director is responsible for leading the visual identity, creative execution, and brand consistency across all Black Diamond marketing channels and locations. This role combines hands-on design work with creative leadership—guiding campaign direction, overseeing production, and ensuring all creative assets align with brand standards and business goals.
This position works closely with the CMO, Creative Marketing Strategist, and Marketing Specialist to bring campaigns to life while supporting HQ, branches, and franchise partners through high-quality, on-brand creative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Development & Execution
- Design and produce high-quality marketing assets across all channels, including:
- Email campaigns
- Social media graphics
- Digital ads
- Print collateral (flyers, brochures, postcards, door hangers, signage, etc.)
- Lead creative direction and visual storytelling for campaigns across all service lines (Pest, Turf, HVAC, Wildlife)
- Ensure brand consistency across all markets, franchises, and touchpoints
- Develop new creative concepts and materials to support seasonal campaigns and ongoing marketing initiatives
Production & Asset Management
- Oversee production design, print ordering, and vendor coordination for all marketing materials
- Manage and fulfill marketing requests through the internal storefront for HQ, branches, and franchises
- Design and coordinate vehicle wraps and fleet branding
- Maintain and organize internal creative asset library and cloud storage system
- Ensure proper file formatting, version control, and brand compliance across all deliverables
Collaboration & Team Support
- Partner closely with the Creative Marketing Strategist on campaign ideation, messaging, and execution
- Collaborate with Marketing Specialists on content creation and deployment
- Provide creative direction and feedback to ensure high-quality output across the team
- Act as backup support for:
- Reputation management (Google reviews, social media inquiries)
- Social media scheduling and coordination
Event & Field Marketing Support
- Assist in the planning and execution of:
- Promotional events
- Community outreach initiatives
- Local branch marketing efforts
- Represent the brand at events when needed
- Support field teams with creative assets and on-site branding needs
Vendor & Partner Coordination
- Screen incoming marketing opportunities and advertising partnerships
- Meet with vendors and evaluate creative opportunities that align with brand strategy
- Coordinate with print vendors, media partners, and production teams
Cross-Functional Support
- Provide creative support to internal departments including HR, Training, Business Development, and Operations
- Assist branches and franchisees with localized marketing needs
- Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications & SkillsTechnical Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
- Experience with video production and editing
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok)
- Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, etc.)
- Working knowledge of digital marketing channels (paid media, email marketing, SEO)
- Experience with project management and scheduling tools (Basecamp, Slack, etc.)
- Understanding of print production processes and file preparation
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in creative, marketing, or advertising roles
- Proven experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Strong portfolio showcasing design, branding, and campaign work
- Experience supporting or leading brand consistency across multiple locations or markets preferred
- Experience working in fast-paced, service-based or multi-location businesses is a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
