Position Overview
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing and optimizing multi-channel marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement across all Black Diamond service lines. This role blends creativity with data-driven decision-making and requires strong content creation, digital marketing, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution & Management
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including social media, email, print, and local initiatives.
- Support campaign launches across multiple markets and service lines (Pest, Turf, HVAC, Wildlife).
- Assist in coordinating seasonal campaigns aligned with business priorities (e.g., termite season, HVAC peak periods, turf applications).
Content Creation & Brand Management
- Capture high-quality photos and videos for use across social media, websites, ads, and YouTube.
- Create engaging, on-brand content tailored to each platform and audience.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and service line positioning.
- Assist in developing marketing assets such as flyers, email graphics, blog content, and ad creatives.
- Help with internal documents such as site maps and bulletin board postings
Social Media & Community Management
- Manage and maintain social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments/messages, and engaging with followers.
- Monitor brand mentions and conversations to protect and enhance company reputation.
- Stay current on trends, platform updates, and opportunities to grow engagement and reach.
Online Reputation & Customer Engagement
- Monitor and respond to online reviews and inquiries across platforms such as Google, Yelp, Angi, and social media.
- Act as the first line of communication for customer engagement, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Escalate customer concerns when necessary and collaborate with internal teams for resolution.
Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Track and analyze campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, social platforms, and reporting dashboards.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve campaign performance, engagement, and lead generation.
- Support reporting efforts by pulling data and identifying trends.
Market Research & Trend Analysis
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify new opportunities and improve marketing effectiveness.
- Stay informed on industry trends within home services and digital marketing.
Event & Field Marketing Support
- Assist with planning and execution of promotional events, community outreach, and local marketing initiatives.
- Represent the company at events when needed and other tasks as assigned.

Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or content creation roles preferred.
- Experience in home services or multi-location businesses is a plus.
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
