Overview
Black Bear Talent is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of facilities, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. This role requires a blend of electrical and mechanical knowledge, as well as the ability to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities effectively.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various facilities systems, including electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
- Conduct inspections of equipment and systems to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within specifications.
- Engage in residential painting duties to maintain aesthetic standards of the facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years previous industrial or manufacturing experience required
- High School Diploma required additional schooling and training preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial or manufacturing facilities, maintenance practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in both speaking and writing in English for effective communication.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot various equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with painting techniques to enhance facility appearance.
- Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen
