POSITION SUMMARY
The Food Runner will assist in providing a superior guest experience, the Food Runner will communicate with Servers to determine their needs, carrying food items from the expediting counter to the right table and helping with cleanup duties after the conclusion of service. Observes tables to communicate to the Server, assist guests who are nearing completion of a course in order to initiate preparation and service of next course in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Read tickets, place proper food items on tray, and assure food is delivered timely, hot and/or cold.
- Deliver and serve food orders to guests quickly and accurately.
- Practice sanitation and food safety principles; clean and sanitize workstation.
- Transport dishes to and from back of the house.
- Check in with guests to ensure their experience is satisfactory.
- Complete and reconcile all paperwork according to standard.
- Perform tasks including bussing tables, clean and re-set tables, side work, and duties as assigned by management.
- Relay reports of guest’s satisfaction to management and relevant parties.
- Present a positive image of Wanaaha Casino to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma, HSED, or GED is required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Hospitality-related kitchen experience preferred.
- Must possess a desire to exceed guest expectations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to coworkers and guests.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must obtain and maintain a Food Handler Card within 90 days of employment.
- The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must meet requirements to qualify for a Bishop Paiute Gaming License. Must pass an extensive background check.
- Must pass pre-employment drug test.
Physical REQUIREMENTS
- Regularly required to stand for extensive periods of time, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Twist, squat and bend into different positions frequently while performing duties.
- Repeated same motions frequently during the shift.
- Ability to lift upwards of 30 pounds. Ability to drag, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Performing physical activities that require moderate use of your arms and legs and moving whole body.
