POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons, associates, and company assets to fulfill the goals and objectives of the Security Department, at the Wanaaha Casino,
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provides the highest level of customer service and assistance to patrons, vendors, and Team Members of the Wanaaha Casino and to members of the Bishop Paiute Tribe.
- Provides for the safety and security of Wanaaha Casino monetary and material assets.
- Provides for the safety and security of Team Members, patrons, buildings, grounds and any and all property belonging to Wanaaha Casino and its patrons.
- Conducts regular ID checks on the Wanaaha Casino property to ensure all patrons who are on property are at least 21 years of age.
- Responsible for deterring theft, criminal activity, vandalism, fire, and illegal entry using procedures prescribed by the Security Manager.
- Responsible for performing foot or mobile patrol of buildings, grounds, and other designated areas, indoors and outdoors, on a flexible schedule as directed by supervisory personnel.
- On request, or by direction, provides security escort services for patrons or Team Members to and from their vehicles.
- Reports and assists in medical emergency situations as required or directed.
- Must adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including, but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements.
- Immediately reports suspicious, unusual activities or undesirable patrons to the proper Department Supervisor, Surveillance Officer, or Security Manager.
- Escorts all chips and cash transfers within the Casino, as well as provides security for Cash Cage and Count Room.
- Collects and transports Table Game drop boxes to storage area.
- Monitoring ATM machine for fills.
- Accepts found property and tags for safekeeping, accepts found or confiscated drugs and tags for safekeeping.
- Documents Incident Reports on the following: patron injuries, Security or medical related incidents that occurs during scheduled shift.
- Removes individuals from the Casino when directed by Security Manager or the General Manager.
- Responsible for keeping Key Records and issuing sensitive keys.
- Reacts promptly to disturbances where security is required.
- Available upon requests for transportation of patrons when requested.
- Attend prescribed training when scheduled.
- All other duties as assigned by management
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or G.E.D Certification.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License or able to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to provide exceptional guest service and strong verbal communication skills.
- ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control) Training is mandatory within first 30 days of employment.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or able to achieve certification after hire).
- Must pass Title 31 within first 30 days of employment.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience required.
- Ability to use and wear an earpiece radio communication device and/or use a handheld radio when necessary.
- Ability to speak and write English, Bilingual is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand information and instructions presented in writing.

- Ability to investigate accidents and prepare written, legible Accident/Incident Reports for submission to supervisory and management personnel.
- Ability to communicate accurately and effectively using radios, telephones, and computers.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- An excellent appearance is required and must always be in proper uniform attire and always be friendly.
- Must be able to work various schedules, on an as-needed basis; as work schedules could vary and will involve day, evening, or nighttime hours during the week and/or on weekends.
- Must meet requirements to qualify for a Bishop Paiute Gaming License. Must pass an extensive background check.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
To perform this job successfully; the Team Member must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.
- Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and continuously use hands.
- Ability to push and pull up to 25lbs pounds and occasionally up to 45lbs.
