What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Technician position at BISHOP PAIUTE TRIBE DBA WANAAHA CASINO?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facilities Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance, and corrective repair in and around casino and RV locations. Provides superior guest service to casino patrons while on the gaming floor. Performs other job related duties as assigned by the Lead Facilities Technician and/or Facilities Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Will perform the work required and will turn in completed Work Orders upon completion of tasks assigned that day.
- Maintains general maintenance issues in restroom; includes general plumbing fixtures, and dispensers.
- Performs general labor work as assigned including loading, unloading, and moving materials.
- Changing light bulbs, replacing fixtures, and performing similar minor maintenance tasks.
- Simple carpentry tasks, such as installing shelves, hooks, or closet rods.
- Will place, mount, and hang; signs, posters and/or banners.
- Will observe all safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions to Lead Facilities Technician and/or Facilities Manager and use equipment and materials properly.
- Will do or assist in setup and cleanup, before and after special events, and projects,
- All repairs will be performed, and area cleaned up of all debris before leaving area.
- Attend necessary training when scheduled.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
None
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License or be able to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
- A minimum of one (1) year maintenance experience is preferred.
- On-the-job training is offered to the right individual.
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisor.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of basic electrical, flooring, and plumbing repair.

- Flexible and willing to work varying shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet requirements to qualify for a Bishop Paiute Gaming License. Must pass an extensive background check.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather.
