Duties
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment
- Assist servers by delivering food from the kitchen to guest tables with accuracy and professionalism
- Support food preparation and plating when needed, ensuring dishes meet quality standards before serving
- Buss tables by removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils while adhering to food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping floors and organizing service stations
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy
- Provide exceptional guest service by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is key
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely during bussing, serving, and food preparation tasks
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
- Experience with banquet service or hotel hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift trays or boxes, and work in a fast-paced environment
