Job description:
An industry leader in laboratory instrumentation for analytical testing is looking for a talented Financial Reporting Accountant to join the team in Woonsocket, RI for a period of 4 months on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate for this position should have a college degree in accounting and 3 years of accounting experience.
Job Responsibilities for an Accountant:
- Process global weekly sales reports from all sales offices
- Process global monthly sales reports from all sales offices and upload to EPM system
- Process monthly trial balances of all subsidiaries and upload to EPM system
- Ad Hoc projects as required
Skills & Qualifications for a Jr Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Familiarity with IFRS
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple engagements
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Planful or similar EPM system a plus
