Bingaman & Son Lumber – Clarendon Division (22 Brown Ave, Clarendon, PA 16313) is seeking an Office Manager to develop, organize, and maintain accurate systems and processes that support effective daily operations
Accountabilities:
- Organize, block tally, and track lumber—including footage and cost—through all stages of the system
- Ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time
- Track time for all hourly employees across production, maintenance, and miscellaneous categories
- Provide support to the Human Resources Department as needed
- Coordinate customer orders and monitor progress through shipment
- Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Maintain adequate inventory of office, yard, and production supplies
- Conduct customer or vendor visits at least twice per year
Position Specifications:
- Ability to walk, stand, use hands, and reach with arms and hands
- Ability to reach above and below shoulder level
- Ability to balance and climb ladders or high‑reach equipment up to 24 feet
- Ability to stoop, twist, climb stairs, crouch, and kneel- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift (including handling lumber)
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, and color vision
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
- Ability to work in both warm and cold weather conditions
- General knowledge of the lumber or related industry
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding of the Bing system
- Understanding of costing principles
