Primary Focus:
Partner directly with Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts to understand investment workflows, portfolio analytics, and business processes, translating business needs into technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze and improve investment processes and portfolio analysis platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and architecture teams on solution design and implementation.
- Support testing, production issues, and platform rollouts.
- Promote adoption of AI tools and technology solutions across the investment organization.
- Drive Agile best practices and support cross-functional initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in asset management, portfolio analytics, and investment workflows.
- 5 years as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience working directly with Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, or front-office investment teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience gathering requirements across multiple systems in Agile environments.
- Basic SQL knowledge required; Python is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of portfolio risk, performance attribution, portfolio construction, and factor exposures.
- Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) and the end-to-end trade lifecycle.
- Experience with investment analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) for requirements gathering, workflow automation, and business analysis.
Salary : $75 - $82
