Position Overview
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to support pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment operations through data analysis, reporting, and operational insights. This role partners closely with Performance Operations analysts to develop, validate, automate, and maintain operational metrics across dispensing data sources. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while ensuring strict compliance with HIPAA and data governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Dispensing & Operational Data Management
- Support the recreation, validation, and maintenance of operational metrics using platform usage and pharmacy fulfillment data.
- Improve automation, data accuracy, and reporting quality across dispensing data workstreams.
- Ensure data availability, integrity, and compliance with established processes.
Performance Reporting & Dashboard Development
- Create and deploy operational dashboards for Covered Entity stakeholders.
- Monitor, track, and report key operational performance metrics.
- Support consolidated reporting across multiple dispensing data sources, including filtering, grouping, and finance reporting needs.
- Maintain timely and accurate reporting updates.
Data Analysis & Business Insights
- Analyze operational data using SQL and Excel to identify trends, measure performance, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable business insights.
- Support operational issue resolution through data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
- Assist in KPI documentation and data strategy initiatives.
Data Governance & Compliance
- Handle Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA and covered-entity policies.
- Adhere to established data governance standards and privacy requirements.
- Maintain appropriate separation between manufacturer and covered-entity data, including patient-level and partner-level information.
- Complete and maintain all required HIPAA, privacy, and compliance training.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and at least one statistical programming language (Python or R).
- Familiarity with healthcare, pharmacy, or claims/dispensing operational data.
- 1–3 years of experience working within a HIPAA-covered entity.
- Ability to manage Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.

Salary : $65 - $70
