The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the Mitigation department including operations, people, compliance, financial performance, and carrier relationships. This role requires strong leadership, insurance knowledge, and hands-on experience managing high-volume water losses.You will manage:3 Project Managers3 Project Coordinators (in-office)~16 Field Technicians (teams of two)Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Lead and manage all water mitigation operations (water, mold, fire, trauma)Scale the department Ensure full compliance with TPA programs (dash, carrier KPIs, documentation, timelines)Oversee job costing, margins, labor efficiency, and profitabilityManage and mentor project managers, coordinators, and field staffEnsure accurate documentation, photo capture, moisture mapping, and billingMaintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters and TPA partnersEnforce IICRC standards and safety protocolsCollaborate with Contents and Reconstruction divisions for seamless project flowAssist with hiring, training, and performance managementDrive operational improvements, SOPs, and accountabilityRequired QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in water mitigation management (restoration industry)IICRC Certifications (Required):WRT (Water Restoration Technician)ASD (Applied Structural Drying)AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician)Proven experience working with TPAs and insurance carriersStrong understanding of Xactimate, mitigation billing, and insurance guidelinesExperience managing teams, schedules, and high job volumeAbility to lead, coach, and hold teams accountableStrong organizational and communication skillsValid driver's license and clean driving recordPreferred QualificationsExperience scaling a mitigation departmentPrior experience in multi-division restoration companiesIICRC Instructor or additional certifications a plusStrong financial acumen and KPI management experiencePhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentPhysical Demands:Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds. Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, stoop, bend, squat, open doors, and climb/ descend stairsOperate standard office equipment (computers, phones, copier, fax machine or scanner)Moderate lifting may be required (15-20) pounds Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per dayTravel to a variety of work sites every day in a company vehicle.
Salary : $89,000 - $90,000
