This position supports the Director of Training in executing the curriculum, mentoring apprentices, and ensuring training initiatives align with Bill Howe's performance standards and core values. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, organized, and committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within our Plumbing Apprentice Academy.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Support the development and implementation of apprentice training curriculumCoordinate daily learning activities and provide logistical supportAssist with the evaluation of training effectiveness and recommend improvementsMentor apprentices and facilitate one-on-one or group coaching sessionsTrack and document apprentice progress and performance metricsAssist in managing student coordination and communicationsCollaborate with the Director of Training to identify training needs via skills gap analysisContribute to the development of new technician-to-truck programsResearch training tools, technologies, and methods (e.g., ServiceTitan modules, online platforms)Participate in recruitment and hiring efforts for apprentice rolesStep in to lead training sessions when neededCarry out additional duties as assigned by the Director of Training or Operations ManagerMinimum QualificationsMinimum 3-5 years experience as PlumberValid Driver's LicenseStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsWorking knowledge of plumbing trade and code requirementsPrior leadership or mentorship experience preferredPrior experience as instructor preferred but not required
