Mitigation / Restoration Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mitigation Manager to lead our restoration and mitigation operations. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mitigation projects from start to finish, including water damage restoration, fire damage repair, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and general restoration efforts.
• Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, contractors, and team members to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
• Supervise mitigation technicians, providing guidance on the proper use of hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Oversee the use of specialized equipment such as carpet cleaning machines, asbestos abatement tools, and other restoration industry-specific machinery.
• Ensure all mitigation activities adhere to industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
• Conduct site inspections to assess damage scope, develop action plans, and monitor progress throughout each project.
• Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, including work logs, safety reports, and client communications to ensure transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the restoration industry with a strong background in mitigation services such as water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, or asbestos abatement.
• Hands-on knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of hand tools and power tools essential for restoration work.
• Familiarity with construction processes related to property repair and renovation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, insurance companies, and team members.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and safety guidelines accurately.
• Certification or training in specific mitigation areas such as mold remediation or asbestos abatement is preferred but not mandatory.
