A full-time teaching opportunity is available for a qualified Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support multiple school districts within Washington County, Pennsylvania. This contract position offers the chance to work with a K-12 caseload, delivering specialized instruction to students with visual impairments. The role requires a dynamic educator who is comfortable traveling between various school sites throughout the county.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instructional services to students with visual impairments across multiple districts.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students specific needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and related service providers to support student success.
- Utilize specialized teaching strategies and assistive technologies to enhance learning.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by district policies.
- Travel between assigned schools to deliver onsite services.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) educator certification.
- Experience working with K-12 students who are visually impaired.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility and reliability in traveling between multiple educational sites.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse school teams.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
