Location:
- Washington County, PA (Coal Center area)
- Onsite work with some flexibility for virtual services in two districts (approximately 10 hours per month)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support for students with visual impairments across multiple districts
- Manage a K-12 caseload, designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and related service providers to promote student success
- Travel between school sites within the county as needed to support students effectively
- Provide virtual services when applicable, maintaining high-quality educational support
Qualifications:
- Active Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification
- Experience working with visually impaired students in K-12 settings
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple districts and caseloads
- Comfortable with travel between educational sites in Washington County
- Ability to deliver both onsite and virtual instruction effectively
