A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support at a high school setting in Ludlow, MA. This contract role involves working within the Compass High Program, a unique educational environment dedicated to high school students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. The program emphasizes personalized, supportive instruction designed to foster independence outside traditional classroom settings.

Key Details:

• Location: Ludlow, MA (assignment), with client main office in West Springfield
• Contract Duration: July 6, 2026 August 7, 2026; potential extension for the 2026/2027 school year
• Hours: 15-20 hours per week over 2-3 days
• Caseload: Focus on AAC services within a high school population; direct AAC evaluations not required
• Educational Setting: Compass High Program, serving students with ASD and other learning differences

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state licensure meeting all state requirements for school-based SLP services
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience working with AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) devices and services
• Previous experience supporting high school students with autism or related learning challenges is highly desirable
• Ability to deliver individualized, supportive therapy aligned with specialized program goals

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy tailored to individual student needs, emphasizing AAC support
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to implement effective communication strategies
• Document services and progress in compliance with state and program guidelines
