A full-time speech-language pathologist opportunity is available in West Hartford, CT, starting ASAP through June 9, 2026. This contract position offers 35 hours per week with work hours from 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM, split between two elementary schools. The exact school sites will be determined upon placement.
Responsibilities include providing speech-language services to a diverse range of students within inclusive settings. While there are no specialized classrooms, caseloads will involve various disability categories requiring tailored support. This role requires onsite presence throughout the week.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Connecticut
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) considered
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) candidates accepted
- Prior school-based SLP experience required
- Completion of district fingerprinting and background checks
- Ability to participate in Zoom interviews
