This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is based in West Hartford, CT, with assignments split between two elementary schools. The role begins ASAP and runs through June 9, 2026. There are two openings available, providing 35 hours per week onsite from 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM.
Responsibilities include providing speech and language services within inclusive classrooms that support a wide range of disability categories. You will work directly with students, collaborate with school staff, and develop individualized plans to support communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut SLP license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) considered
- School-based SLP experience required
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) accepted for this role
- District fingerprinting and background checks mandatory
- Ability to participate in a Zoom interview
- Experience managing diverse caseloads within the school setting
