An opportunity is available for licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide specialized services within school settings across the Baltimore area, MD. These roles involve working with diverse age groups ranging from preschool to middle school students, supporting their communication and language development in both itinerant and assigned school environments.
Locations and Schedule:
- Positions available at Community Preschool locations, Magnolia Elementary, Prospect Mill Elementary, and Aberdeen Middle School.
- Two full-time roles (37.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday).
- One part-time role (30 hours/week, Monday through Thursday, with option to expand to five days).
- Assignments include itinerant preschool services and structured time at elementary and middle schools.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and implementing individualized plans for students with speech and language needs.
- Supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support service delivery.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and school staff to enhance student progress.
- Maintaining thorough documentation in compliance with state and district requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC required).
- Completion of background check and employment history review in compliance with district policies.
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple school sites.
- Experience with a range of student age groups, from preschool through middle school.
- Prior experience supervising SLPAs is a plus.
