Embark on a meaningful contract assignment working directly with K-12 students for the 2026–2027 school year. This onsite occupational therapy opportunity offers engagement with a diverse caseload of up to 30 students, allowing you to make a significant impact on their educational experience and overall development.
Position Details:
- Academic term: August 17, 2026 – June 16, 2027
- Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: K-12; up to 30 students
- Onsite services only—collaborate closely with educational teams and families
What We’re Looking For:
- Current and valid Washington State Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure/certification
- Fingerprinting completed through OSPI is required prior to start
- Previous school-based OT experience highly desired
- Skilled in providing therapy to a wide age range and varying abilities
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with developing, implementing, and tracking IEPs
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering tailored occupational therapy to support students’ educational access and participation
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support whole-child learning
- Assessing students’ needs and maintaining clear, timely documentation
- Contributing to IEP meetings and progress reports
- Advocating for student needs across academic and functional domains
