This contract opportunity is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist holding a CCC or working toward CFY status, passionate about helping students overcome communication barriers. The assignment is set from August 5, 2026, to October 30, 2026, for a total of 37.5 hours per week at a well-resourced high school.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP in Colorado
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
- Passion for empowering students to reach their full potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as indicated by Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop personalized therapy plans and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create and implement intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team assessments
- Maintain accurate records and comply with school and state documentation requirements
