Registered Behavior Technician in Pawtucket, RI

Must have completed ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years ABA Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunity for skilled Registered Behavior Technicians to make a meaningful difference in a middle school environment! This contract position is perfect for those passionate about providing behavioral support and promoting positive learning experiences for students. With a full-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week through June 18, 2026, you’ll be working closely with students and staff to create a supportive atmosphere and help students thrive academically and behaviorally.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in behavioral support, preferably within middle or high school settings
• Prior work providing whole class support and managing challenging behaviors, such as elopement, hallway disruptions, and aggression
• Preference given to candidates with a completed National BCI for immediate onboarding

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to design and implement behavior intervention strategies
• Deliver direct support to middle school students, focusing on reducing disruptive behaviors and supporting positive engagement
• Document student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Maintain clear professional communication with colleagues, students, and their families
• Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment
