Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students during Extended School Year (ESY) services near Coal Center, PA. In this onsite role, you’ll work at multiple locations, including West Crawford Elementary, Dunbar Township Elementary, Springfield Elementary, and Connellsville Area HS. As the dedicated SLP, you will provide expert speech and language services to a caseload of 56 students across the Connellsville Area for the duration of the assignment.
This position runs from July 1 through July 30, 2026, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, offering a structured schedule that allows for productivity and work-life balance over the ESY period.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current PA SLP Educator Certification required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Caring, flexible, and responsive to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to students PreK-12 as assigned
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress
- Communicate clearly with staff, administration, and families regarding student needs and growth
